Bright Star

 ‘It’s Just Today’

I'll be alright tomorrow, it's just today
Oh today I just can't seem to find my way
And I'm thinking things will all come right again
Oh I'll be alright tomorrow, it's just today
The sun left town to hide behind the clouds
And I ain't gonna cry no more, cos I'm too proud
Somebody hold my hand and take the sway
Cos I'll be alright tomorrow, it's just today
Yeah I been strong enough, far too long enough
And I know it won't be too long 'til I'm ok
Gonna be hard enough, gonna be tough enough
I'll get down on my knees, Lord I gotta pray
Yeah I had my share of happiness and joy
Seen the bridges that I built, oh Lord in time destroyed
One small trick of fate, hey and then you pay, yeah
So I'll be alright tomorrow, it's just today
You can win the fight and lose all that you own, yeah
And love, the humble teacher, she gonna cut you to the bone
The lost and lonely, the broken and betrayed
We all gonna be alright tomorrow, it's just today
Yeah I been strong enough, far too long enough
I know it won't be too long 'til I'm ok
Gonna be hard enough, gonna be tough enough
I'll get down on my knees, Lord I gotta pray, yeah
Today old memories bring the pain of tears
And nothing gonna be right when I think of all those years
When my heart beat, beat with the love of yesterday
Oh I'll be alright tomorrow, it's just today
Yeah I been strong enough, far too long enough
I know it won't be too long 'til I'm ok
Gonna be hard enough, gonna be tough enough
I'll get down on my knees, Lord I gotta pray
I been strong enough, far too long enough
I know it won't be too long 'til I'm ok
Gonna be hard enough, gonna be tough enough
I'll get down on my knees, Lord, Lord I gotta pray
Lord I gotta pray, yeah, I’m gonna pray, gonna pray
